Announcement for the following vacancy:
TRUMPET
Soloist a: Gross monthly salary of 1.682.32€ (Includes basic salary + instrument maintenance, garment and recording allowance + food allowance)
Job availability: one year, with the beginning in February 2021 on date to be arranged between the parties, with the possibility of renewal for equal periods.
Auditions location & dates: Faro (Portugal), January 19th 2021, 10.00am
Closing date for application: December 15th 2020
Closing date be informed of the result for the pre-selection: 20th December 2020
Closing date for confirmation of attendance at the audition for the Candidates chosen in the pré-selection: 15th January 2021
Applications will be subject to a pre-selection, based on detailed Curriculum Vitae analysis and video recording.
The videos must be recorded in a single take, presenting good sound and image quality, and may be sent as an attachment or through a private link, within a format that allows their reproduction by OCS digital devices, with the following repertoire:

With or without piano, staying at the candidate's discretion. Note: the fact that it is without a piano is neither decisive nor eliminating any candidate.

Tuning will be done inside audition hall.
OCS will supply a pianist for the 1ª round of the audition.
1ª and 2ª round will be performance “behind curtain”.

The Orquestra Clássica do Sul, born in September 2013 from the restructure of the Orquestra do Algarve, with the purpose of consolidating its implementation in the Algarve and Andalusia (Spain) regions and extend its activity to the regions of Alentejo and Setúbal.
The Orquestra Clássica do Sul is located in Faro, on the southern coast of Portugal.
Travel, lodging and local transportation expenses are of the candidate’s sole responsibility.
The order for each candidate shall be selected before the beginning of the audition.
All candidates must arrive 30 minutes before the audition time.
The Orchestra reserves the right to leave available positions unfilled.
