#OAORQUESTRA
Recalling the ever-present link between the Algarve and England, this is a concert programme in the form of a crossroads. On the one hand, the creativity of the British Frank Bridge and Peter Warlock, both revisiting other musical places: an Irish theme and old Italian dances. On the other hand, in the year that celebrates the centenary of Joly Braga Santos, a composer who translated Portuguese landscapes into music, the programme features his second string quartet, a work of rare beauty that undoubtedly deserves to be performed more often.
